Gluten-Free Dark Chocolate Banana Bread Recipe
Make this delicious banana bread recipe next time you need a comforting sweet treat.
Ingredients:
- 3 mashed bananas, very ripe
- 1.5 cups Bob Red Mill’s Gluten Free All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 cups cane sugar
- 2 eggs (sub flax eggs if desired)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (sub vegan butter for DF)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2-3 dashes of cinnamon
- Dark chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour your baking dish.
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Mash bananas in a small bowl and add to the mixture. Add 2 eggs & beat together.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl. Slowly add to your wet mixture. Beat together until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and cinnamon. Continue mixing.
- Fold in your dark chocolate chips. Add mixture into dish and top with choco chips.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Let sit for 10 mins and move to a cooling rack.
